I haven’t been blogging lately… Lately = not at all in the last fuck knows how many weeks, months. The reason? Didn’t feel like it. Had no time. Had nothing to blog about (or just..) aaaaargh, radaladar is my witness, sometimes it’s just HARD to blog.
So, what happened in the no-blog time (also known as hyperspace in some cultures)?
I downloaded a shitload of music (from Chinese Funeral Doom to Russian Funeral Death/Doom);
My MSN sucks and doesn’t let me in – I’m the fuckin wolf at the door;
I have my first exam tomorrow (Medieval History) and I’m blogging;
Umm? What else..
I bought a cheap copy of Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. It runs on my computer and it’s quite good, despite the fact that it’s full o’ bugs and annoying shit.

Wow, I ended up with a very strange chart for last week (according to my last.fm profile):
So basically it’s Zorn-released avant-klezmer on top, followed by French black metal, Dutch goregrind, my beloved Dead Raven Choir (black folk noise or some shit like that), more raw black metal, my own Eat Rust (I really dig my black metal songs, see previous post), classic black metal (Bathory’s s/t album is very good), dronish dark folk, PJ Harvey ♥, and Shrum, psychedelic death metal with two bass guitarists (one being from Acid Bath).
And all this leads me to

The world lacks good klezmer metal. I mean, I’m not sure it’s needed… but damn it. I composed some under the moniker Bavarians of Bohemia. I’m actually enjoying the cheesy darkwave/gothic synthpop of Sopor Aeternus’ La Chambre d’Echo. Wow. It’s strange. I also grew to like the not so synthpop but very synth neo-classical stuff by him/her (hail transgender artists). AndI love Little Velveteen Knight… “Some monsters just cannot be slain” *cheesy synth organs join in*.
Even the shortest distances are long when you have to pee. AKA the worst 16 floors in the elevator.

Two years ago we created a fake band, Mental Ward. We had an insane amount of fun making up lyrics for it. I want to be young again!!
(hehh… Actually, I’m still making up fake bands on a daily base. And create real ones as well. So nothing’s changed since the days of my youth)
Ooookay, I created a netlabel called evil scientist records, or ESR for short. Basically, it’s a means to organize my music (: But you may never know what the future holds.
The first Eat Rust Big Band (Russian Lineup) improvisation session will take place on Sunday! Two guitars, piano, flute, violin, xilophone. I hope to get a normal recording device til then. Don’t let anything go to waste! No sound is worthier than the others.
All sounds are equal, but some sounds are more equalized than others.

I have no clear idea, what will we play. And I’m not sure all members are as enthusiastic about disjointed sounds as I am. They have no other choice! Thay can bang their head on the walls, I’ll record THAT.
